The curve of the upturned diggers hat is a symbolic line between the digger and the DNA process. Hands reach out and faces peer out through twisted earth waiting for DNA identification. The branches symbolise the family tree process that was used to identify soldiers in Australia. A set of feet signify the journey which one begins as a single step toward a more peaceful resting place for our diggers.
La courbe du chapeau des “diggers” est symbolique, entre les “diggers” et le processus d’identification par l’ADN. Des mains tendues et des visages apparaissent dans cette terre retournée, attendant d’être identifiés. Les branches représentent l’arbre généalogique qui était utilisé pour identifier les soldats en Australie.
Quelques traces de pas pour signifier chaque étape vers un endroit plus paisible pour nos “diggers”.
